South Africa is developing the Atlantis SEZ to simultaneously revitalize the distressed area of Atlantis, Northern Cape Province, and promote clean-energy industries. The new SEZ hopes to attract investors with support from the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme.
